| REUNITED 32 YEARS LATER! |

Mood:  I got the phone call I had been waiting so long to get! A web detective called me to let me know that my sister Angela had been looking for me. I could not believe it! Angela was in Alabama reuniting with our Birth Family she had just found, and they hired a web detective to find me. It cost $500.00 for this woman to find me in a matter of 12 hours. Unbelievable! Angela said " It was as though, she all ready knew where I was". We spoke on the phone for hours, and I got to talk to my Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, Nephews & Nieces too! My brother Robert had found our Grandparents prior to Angela finding them, so he was all ready living in Alabama at the time. He was adopted and also raised in CA. I drove all the way to San Diego, the day that Angela flew in from Alabama. It was a trip, the national guard was everywhere! I waited at the foot of the escalator with a dozzen roses in my hand. Her husband Mike at the time, had called the local newspapars and they were there waiting for our reunion! I will never forget the feelings I had the moment I saw Angela. I was crying and yelling, so overwhelming. We hugged eachother for what seemed like hours, and I did not want to let her go, EVER! I stayed with Angela for a week. It was not long enough at all! The newspapers came out to her house once again, to interview us. It was then we got to talk about Sherry, our sister who we have not been able to find! |

Mood: I had not met my brother yet, but we talked on the phone just about everyday! The same went with my Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, Nieces. We all talked and decided that we had to find our sister Sherry to make our family puzzle once again be complete! We decided to contact TV shows. Montel, Oprah, Dr. Phil and The Sally Jessie Raphael Show, to see if they could help us get the word out on Sherry! The Montel show called and told us they would call us back and never did, I could not believe they left us hanging like that! I had watched his show for years! What a bummer that was. Then the Sally Show called us. They took our story right away and before we knew it, we were all being flown to New York! It was on the show that I met my brother Robert for the first time. OMG, It was incredible! It was like a dream and I was just waiting to be woken up ! They let my husband and Roberts wife Debbie go too, they were sitting in the audiance up front. Angela and Robert were on stage when I walked out. Everyone stood up and was clapping and Robert came to me and hugged me so tight! A dream come true he said! When we sat down we were able to talk a little bit about our story! I kept waiting for Sherry to walk out , but she never did! You know how shows surprise you with a family member, without you knowing. I really thought that was going to happen to us! We really hoped that someone out there would know our sister Sherry! Everyday we checked our email and waited for the phone to ring! Something...But never heard a word from anyone!!!! The Sally Show was a wonderful expierence. I am so grateful that they allowed us to tell our story and give my brother and I the reunion we had waited for all our life! What a blessing  |
