One of our biggest obstacles is our pool. We need it to be safe for everyone including company. My husband wanted to use LoopLoc which is a cover that an elephant could walk on, I think he liked the commercial! I have chosen a gate one that was recommended by our licensing worker. We have an appointment with them on Friday the 11th. I hope it doesn't cost as much as loop loc and I hope it doesn't look as bad as chain link. We were hoping alarms would do the trick but we want to be safe as well. I hope it can be installed quick enough for our licensing as well. During this whole hurry hurry and get everything done phase one could get anxiety. If anyone has had pool issues let me know what you did. I wish we could just fence the area that we walk out to under our awning before the pool. It will not be pretty when we look out anymore but it is about safety not cosmetics. LOL

That is such a good feeling whether you are in elem. school, college or as an adult it is so great to get your paperwork in on time with plenty of time to spare. My friend from pride just got her license and she placed it in a frame and hung it in her hallway. After all she is very proud of it and she is really looking forward to that amazing phone call that will match her to a little one that she will call her own. She thinks that we will get placed first, I think she will get two girls right away. We are expecting a baby boy or a baby girl for that matter. She will be getting girls I just know it and she will be a great mommy. In her situation she only has a two bedroom house so if she gets a sib set she will most likely have the same sex siblings. On another note at one tiem in my life most recently in fact I only cared about my career. Right now I am trying to put my career last it is a struggle but it is the first time in my life that I truly care about my quality of LIFE. My husband, my mental state, my days off, my hobbies: I need some hobbies. I realized when our SW asked me about my hobbies I didn't think of anything right away. When I was in my 20's I probably would not shut up and now in my late 30's I just sat there, thnkfully my husband motioned to me about skiing and riding ATV's. But I don't do them every month. My sister stamps her heart out and takes three kids everywhere scouts, soccer, dance, music lessons etc. My other sister she is concentrating on remodeling, career, her dogs and traveling. She is doing everything I did in my late 20's. I spend a lot of time on the computer, especially since I play games with my family from out of state. I would like to help more in my community. Maybe Red Cross or a local center. I will have to look into that, I want something that is more rewarding. Maybe I feel that way because I am waiting for a baby........ We are going to paint and get ready to move all the office furniture out of the "baby" room. We can't decide on a color. I would love to paint a park scene on one side of the room, but I don't want it to look to girly. Our colors no matter what will be blue and green. I want it to be very calming. Wish us luck for our first walk through. It should be the week of Valentines day or President's day. We will not get signed off on the first walkthrough there are too many things all over our garage and the pool has to be fenced in sometime this month. We also want to tile our back room however tile seems so cold for babies to crawl on, we have always wanted tile in that room though. Signing off...........Ciao Karen

We did not just come up with the idea. I had a tubal pregnancy with my first husband over 10 years ago. We divorced shortly after that, which was fine. He decided after I had been in the hospital he would not be a good father. I have endometriosis. I also have my grandmothers genes every woman on her side of the family had no children after the age of 25. And most had a hysterectomy by the age of 30. Before I started dating my husband now I was at the restaurant where I worked as a manager and some regulars had paid for a man to coem read their palms at lunch. He was dressed in a business suit and he offered to read my palm as I walked by their table. I did not let on but he was right about several things. He asked em if I had children and before I could answer he said "I don't know how but you will have 2" I felt I understood, I will remarry someone that has kids. But NO, instead I met my husband shortly after that and he had two siblings that were adopted. And now we are adopting and I have a hunch that we may get 2! I never told him the story, but it all feels like it is coming together so easily. I have to get some sleep and I wanted to share my story. nite nite
