Little M Starts Kindergarten
Date Posted: 08-17-2009 at 11:45 AM Comments(0)
I have tried to delay this day since the day little M became our son. He is my little man. He is my shopper. I can run errands all day and as long as he rides in a cart he will keep on going. He is my stunt man...just caught him the other day putting his stool for brushing his teeth onto another stool...stand on it and jump from the stool to the sofa. He is my athlete and my little guy who loves the out doors. He will spend hours outside looking at every spider web, bug and flower in the yard. He is my little guy who will play for hours throwing a stick or ball to our dog Molly. He is my little guy who loves his action figures....especially superman and spiderman. He is my little guy who wants big brother to think he knows as much as he does about Star Wars. He is my little guy who likes to sit on the sofa with me and watch Backyardigans and other Nick Jr. shows. My little guy who loves poptarts. My little guy who helped plant our vegetable garden and loves to pick tomatoes each day.
It is obvious that I miss him home with me each day. The house is so quiet but I know it is good for him. He comes home from school each day singing and happy. It makes me feel good that he is having a great time at school.
Big brother is taking very good care of him. He makes sure he eats breakfast each morning at school and gets him to his classroom. He then watches for him in the afternoon to make sure he makes it onto the bus. It is really cute how big brother holds his hand to cross the street.
How quickly they grow up.
I love my boys and am very proud of you both!
