| So.. You guys thought I was stressed out a couple of weeks ago. HA! Now I am sleep deprived and grumpy.. which is not a good combination for me. I am doing my preceptorship at the hospital in Springfield. Not only am I doing night shift for 12 and a half hours but I have to drive back and hour home! That is the most difficult part not falling asleeo while driving. Thank goodness I only have 4 times left. Money is an issue again in our house. I have the pressure of finishing up everything with school on top of my husband freaking out about me getting a job pronto. I can understand his fears. But really! Does he honestly think that I went to school this whole time only not to get a job? Give me a break! Birthday and Mothers Day were a bust. My birthday was the 10th my husband forgot. My kids didn't though! I got two packs of bubble gum, breath mints, and angel and stationary. They wrapped it all themselves It was cute. The reason why Bday was a bust was I had a major test that day that counted for 30% of my final grade. Better yet it was the last test for school! Lots of pressure for that one. I ended up studying all day long and then taking the test. My DH had a meeting that night and did nto get back until later and then interrupted Greys Anatomy! The gall! Mothers day was a bust for my wonderful Henious mother in law decided that she just had to go to Red Lobster to eat. I left early from church mind you to put our names in and Hour and a half later we sat down.. but not before Paula who was wearing heels managed to turn her left ankle and sprain it something fierce. I don't know who screamed louder me or the little kid that fell about the same time. Not to mention that my DH and his brothers decided to split the bill. Well one brother did not show..so the entire time his mom was griping and complaining. never mind that he told her that he would not be there weeks ago for his wife and he were visiting her mom first and then Cindy. So as you can imagine 7 people at Red Lobster what the bill looked like. and then not to have a three way split like orgionally planned. Jeepers and I wonder why we don't have money this week. In other news Nursing is awesome. I have learned lots and lots over the past two weeks while working... I have learned that there are nurses out there who have no business being nurses. They are not empathetic to their patients needs and only care about the money and benefits. that is pathetic. I had one nurse bragging on how she scared the " sh!t" out of her patient and made her cry. No remorse just bragging.. I wanted to strangle her by the end of the night. There is always that one. I just so happen to find them often. She really got on my nerves for you see I have NO tolerance for ignorance and stupidity, and not to mention tactless people.
