| Hi to everyone listening. We are adopting a precious little girl and our POA and Dossier has been in Guatemala since July. I have been patiently waiting for DNA Authorization for three months. I know it normally only takes a few months to get authorization and I am starting to get worried. Could anyone who was in a similar situation explain why it might take so long to get authorization and how long you waited. I am wondering if there is anyone out there that actually had to wait five months to get this? How do you cope? The explanation I have had so far is it is the embassy who is losing the documents. Does the embassy sometimes order more tests and why do they do this? Thank you for your help. |
