| Well--this week just zipped by... I have been working my rear off trying to get the new house we bought cleanned and ready to rent out. It is a darling house...1700 sq feet and a cute back yard. Darling 1950 era kitchen and floor plan. The house is very cute. We got a great application from a lady who is on Housing (section 8) and the HUD inspection passed without an issue....I always like that. We like providing housing for low income people and we like helping them feel a sense of pride.... I always give them a notebook with all the paperwork and a letter that Our House is Your Home....and that the house is actually more then an income property for us.... It is an investment. I think we will keep the new rental house for our City Cabin rather then my old house because it is smaller. So the new tenant is soooo excited and I honestly don't blame her. She is living in an apartment with a 16 and 5 year old. ERRG! The house is cute and even I could imagine living in it.... so I know how exciting this move really is to her. We like being able to offer a Quality life to people who want to take care of it. I just hate the turn around when there is a move out...but, really that has not happened as often as you might think.... Less then every year...so oh well, I have to work hard for a few weeks...big deal! I did however tell my dear Andrew that the funds to over the things I need to rent the house Will Not come out of my budget and I will be giving him reciepts.... That and this morning I asked him to gas up my Van because I don't have this much gas in my budget.... He will get over it. The new tenant of course wants to start moving in as soon as possible (they always do) and of course tere is the old "can I move a few boxes in????" this question is a might as well give them the keys kind of thing. I think that Wednesay will be the day everything is ready for her to move in....  |
